Community-based appreciation and celebration of cuban dance in WNY

Formed in December 2024, Queen City Cuban Dance is a volunteer-run community of dedicated instructors, students, and organizers who seek to expand the knowledge, appreciation, and respect for Cuban dance, music, and culture in Western New York.

We teach weekly Cuban dance classes, host socials, workshops& special events, and run an amazing performance team, the Queen City Casineros.

We are based in Buffalo, NY. In addition to our own events and classes, we also regularly partner with local and regional dance instructors (like our friends at Fanny Salsa, Latin Dance Niagara, Elevate Dance Center, and ShumdeSalsa, ), and have trained and traveled across the U.S., Canada, and Cuba to share our love and passion for dance and community connection.

Our primary goal is to promote the education and appreciation of all styles of Cuban dance, including rueda de casino, son cubano, rumba, casino partnerwork, Afro-Cuban folkloric dance, reparto, and more!
